Romweber Flats to Add Thirty Apartments.

Batesville, Indiana
Romweber Flats, located in downtown Batesville was recently awarded $6.5 million in tax credits from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority for the construction of anadditional thirtysenior affordable apartments, bringing the total number of units in the complex to 84. Construction is expected to commence in late summer and the units will be available for occupancy in the Spring of 2014. Contemplated in this next phase of the Romweber Flats project will be assisted living services
provided in partnership with Cincinnati, Ohio based Nursing Care Management of America an operator of eight skilled care nursing homes in the Midwest. Discretionary assisted living services will be offered on an ala carte basis to all residents of Romweber Flats allowing them to choose the services that are needed. Food service will be provided to residents utilizing the assisted living service as well by the Big Four Café. Beginning in 2014, 10,000 people a day in the US will be turning 65 years old. Romweber Flats provides affordable housing for seniors over 55.
